How we install Garage Epoxy Floors

The process for installing metallic epoxy flooring is similar to standard epoxy but with the key addition of metallic pigments. Here's our installation process for metallic epoxy floors:

1. Preparation: First, the concrete surface is thoroughly cleaned and checked for any damage. Any cracks, divots, and decencies are patched and repaired with crack repair agent to strengthen and hide cracks. This is to ensure the floor will function correctly once finished.

2. Resurfacing: The concrete is then resurfaced using a floor grinder equipped with a diamond wheel. This step is crucial for ensuring the epoxy adheres properly.

3. Application: Prior to starting the floor application we will test the floor for moisture and apply MVB base coat if applicable. After that we will apply the epoxy base coat, followed by broadcasting polymer flakes at 100% coverage.

4. Curing: Once the epoxy has fully cured, we will remove the excess flake adn apply a protective UV stable topcoat. The protective topcoat is designed to protect the floor from damage, stains, abrassion, chemicals and discoloration and yellowing under direct sunlight.

Your new garage floor will be 95% cured after 24 hours and ready to walk on and fully cured in 72 hours, ready for full use.
